Graphite lubricated bearings are often used in industrial applications. They mainly form a lubricating film through the microparticles released by the graphite layer during the friction process, thereby reducing the friction and wear of the metal contact surface. They are suitable for working conditions with high temperature, low speed, heavy load or infrequent maintenance. At the same time, graphite bearings are resistant to high temperature, corrosion and conductivity. When used under extreme working conditions, no additional lubricating oil is required, avoiding the risk of contamination.

The many characteristics of graphite bearings make them often used in some special scenarios, as follows:

1. High temperature environment. Graphite bearings have excellent self-lubrication. In high temperature environment applications where traditional grease lubrication is prone to failure, such as metallurgical equipment (continuous casting machine, heating furnace), it can withstand thermal radiation for a long time.

2. Corrosive media. The chemical corrosion resistance of graphite bearings enables them to withstand the erosion of acid and alkali solvents in chemical pumps and reactors, thereby extending the life of the bearings.

3.Oil-free cleaning scenarios. For example, food processing and pharmaceutical machinery need to be free of oil pollution, and the self-lubricating property of graphite bearings ensures stable operation without the use of additional lubricating oil, thus avoiding oil pollution.

4. Fields requiring electrical conductivity. In motors or conductive slip rings, the excellent electrical conductivity of graphite bearings allows them to be used as conductive components.
